P&G strives to be a force for good and a force for growth. We make everyday life better – making clothes cleaner, hair stronger, and teeth whiter – and we must do our part in building a more sustainable world. As consumption rates outpace our natural resources, P&G will continue to delight consumers with superior products while enabling responsible consumption.
P&G has always been committed to Environmental Sustainability. We have achieved many of our goals for 2020, which includes reducing absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, reducing water use, and achieving zero manufacturing waste to landfill.

To take our commitment further, we announced “Ambition 2030”, our broadest-reaching sustainability goals which will address two pressing environmental challenges: finite resources and growing consumption. We want to enable positive impact through brands that offer much more than superior performance. P&G’s “Ambition 2030” goals include:
- Brands: P&G’s 20 leadership brands including Always, Ariel, Febreze, Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Pampers, and Tide will enable responsible consumption through 100% recyclable or reusable packaging and more sustainable innovations.
- Supply Chain: P&G manufacturing sites will cut GHG emissions in half, and will purchase enough renewable electricity to power 100% of our plants.
- Society: P&G will continue to create transformative partnerships, including those that stem the flow of plastic into the world’s ocean, protect and enhance forests, expand recycling solutions for absorbent hygiene products, and protect water in priority basins.
- Employees: P&G will engage, equip, and reward employees for building sustainability thinking and practices into their everyday work.

We are proud to be driving sustainable development, but we also know that we will not have all the answers. All of us must play our part, but more importantly, we must work together. It takes partnerships and collaborations to make meaningful progress and to drive positive, long-lasting global impact.
